Program Specialist

Program Representatives support drug manufacturers and biotechnology companies providing support services for their specialty products. Previous experience in health care industry is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities: Include managing patient accounts, researching insurance coverage, obtaining authorizations, resolving billing/collection issues, and interacting with physicians, patients, insurers and pharmaceutical company representatives.

Qualifications: Demonstrated excellent customer service approach. Telephone skills are essential. Demonstrated ability to work as a team member with a customer satisfaction focus. Demonstrated problem solving ability. Ability and initiative to work independently. Strong interpersonal, communication, time management, organizational and customer relationsí skills.

Education: College degree is preferred, equivalent experience is accepted.

Experience: Previous 1+ years of experience in a physician's office, healthcare setting, and/or insurance background preferred.


Reimbursement Specialist

Reimbursement Representatives support some of the newest, most innovative drug therapies. Individual case management. Previous experience in the health care industry required.

Responsibilities: managing patient accounts, researching insurance coverage, obtaining authorizations, resolving billing/collection issues, and interacting with physicians, patients, insurers and pharmaceutical company representatives.

Reimbursement Case Manager

Reimbursement Case Managers support the most innovative IV therapies provided by TheraCom. This position plays a vital role in patient care services by providing information necessary for patientsí financial planning.

Responsibilities: The Reimbursement Case Manager is responsible for case assignments on ongoing, often life sustaining therapies. The Reimbursement Case Manager provides the highest level of reimbursement research/ verifications that must be met in order to insulate all parties from unforeseen financial obligations/ risks. It is their responsibility to recognize opportunities, obstacles and risks and to take the reimbursement actions required to support existing and future business.

Qualifications: Ability to manage all reimbursement aspects of cases in order to assure collectability by TheraCom for products and services rendered. Extensive knowledge of insurance practices both public and private. Requires excellent problem solving skills. Excellent communication, self-motivation and strong interpersonal skills are required.

Education: Bachelor Degree from accredited school and/or equivalent experience in healthcare reimbursement or related experience.

Experience: At least 3 years of insurance experience in healthcare reimbursement. Extensive knowledge of insurance practices. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Can work effectively as a member of a team while being able to work independently with little direct supervision.
